Biographite emerged as a cleaner, more competitive, and secure raw material, addressing the surging global demand for lithium-ion batteries amid worldwide decarbonization efforts. Its production could be scaled rapidly and localised wherever suitable feedstock was available.
In 2023, CarbonScape secured $18 million in new investment to scale its operations and advance plans for production facilities in Europe and the United States
