Mackinnon Bruce International is partnered with a fast-growing Life Sciences company with broad, cutting-edge technologies. The company provides a range of products & services to Biotech & Pharma to support the research & discovery of life-changing drugs/therapies within the Immunology & Oncology fields.


Job Responsibilities

  • Master the science and business skills in immuno-oncology, animal model gene engineering, and preclinical pharmacology.
  • Actively develop new business by proactively developing partnerships with prospective customers, exploring business opportunities, managing negotiations and securing contracts across Canada (based in Toronto or Vancouver)
  • Attend trade shows/relevant conferences.
  • Support the Marketing Team in branding and building awareness in the marketplace.


Requirements

  • PhD in the bioscience field and strong scientific background, looking to step into a business development (customer-facing role).
  • Strong scientific understanding of one of the following: immuno-oncology, immunology, oncology, or pharmacology.
  • Must have experience in preclinical & In-Vivo research
  • Strong interest to learn advances in biopharmaceutical science and business
  • Enjoy networking with top scientists from biotech and biopharma companies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Willingness to travel (i.e., customer meetings, conferences/vendor shows
