Summary:
Mackinnon Bruce International is representing a leading pump manufacturing company in the search for a Sales Manager Canada. This role is responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and building strong relationships with clients, distributors, and partners across Canada. The Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in executing sales strategies, achieving revenue targets, and expanding the company’s footprint in the Canadian pump and fluid handling market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Canadian market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and engineering partners.
- Manage assigned accounts, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
- Identify new business opportunities and support market expansion initiatives in various industries such as oil & gas, water & wastewater, power generation, and industrial process sectors.
- Represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, and industry events.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction and technical support.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to support sales initiatives and team development.
- Travel across Canada as required (estimated up to 50%).
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills in English and French.
- Knowledge of pump systems, fluid handling solutions, and industrial applications is highly desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Proficient in project management, CRM systems, and sales reporting tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in industrial sales, pump systems, or fluid handling considered.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, territory management, or account management.
- Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets.
- Ability to read and understand technical documents and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license and current passport required.
Work Environment:
- Office-based with travel across Canada to meet clients, distributors, and project sites.
- Exposure to industrial and manufacturing environments may be required.
