Role & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company’s growth objectives.
  • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to the CEO and Board of Directors.


Financial Management:

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Optimize the company’s capital structure and working capital.
  • Implement effective internal controls and financial reporting systems.


Operational Efficiency:

  • Collaborate with senior management to drive operational efficiencies and cost reductions.
  • Evaluate and manage financial risks, including currency exchange and market volatility.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and reporting requirements.


Investment and Growth:

  • Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic investments.
  • Support the development and implementation of business strategies.
  • Oversee capital investment and allocation to maximise returns.


Team Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Promote a collaborative environment across departments to achieve financial goals.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably in the industrial and specialty chemical market.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
