A growing business operating across animal feed, protein production and agricultural services headquartered in the Northeast, with a strong presence on the East Coast of the USA
Location:
North East USA. Open to candidates on the East Coast or individuals willing to relocate
The Role
The Director of Nutrition will lead monogastric nutrition strategy across large-scale production systems, acting as a trusted technical advisor to key customers while driving growth through targeted, performance-driven nutrition programs. The role connects advanced swine and poultry nutrition with commercial outcomes, directly impacting efficiency, profitability, and ROI.
You will lead and develop a high-performing nutrition team, work closely with R&D, formulation, procurement, and commercial teams, and represent the business as a technical leader in monogastric nutrition.
Requirements\Qualifications
- Proficiency in feed formulation software, live production applications and interfacing with customer service, feed mill and finance applications
- 5-10 years of hands-on experience in developing and delivering large-scale, multi-location nutrition services in an integrated or commercial feed setting
- Ability to relate technical knowledge to solve complex testing and process problems
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- PhD degree in Animal Nutrition/Science, or a closely related field
