Essential Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program. 

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in municipal drinking water engineering within the engineering consulting industry. 

  • A Professional Engineer (PE) License, with the ability to secure licensure in Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota within 12 months. 

Desirable Qualifications 

  • Over 10 years of progressive experience leading technical teams and engaging with clients. 

  • A proven track record in engineering activities, including design, report generation, and feasibility studies for water resources projects. 

  • Proficiency in relevant software for water system modeling.

Role & Responsibilities

Your Role 

This position offers more than just employment - it presents the opportunity to shape the future of our water division. You will spearhead the design of various water system construction projects, including water wells, treatment plants, storage facilities, booster stations, and other distribution infrastructure. Our clientele spans both Municipal and Private sectors in the Midwest, and we eagerly anticipate the expertise you will bring to our journey. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead the design and development of engineering projects, revolutionising the way we supply, treat, store, and distribute drinking water. 

  • Develop detailed design plans, specifications, and bid documents that set the benchmark for water system construction projects. 

  • Generate comprehensive technical reports on drinking water, influencing local, state, and federal regulatory bodies. 

  • Refine standard work procedures, training programs, and QA/QC systems to elevate our discipline. 

  • Collaborate with the Water Technical Competency Leader to shape the technical vision and strategic direction for the drinking water discipline.
