Due to continuous growth, we are hiring a Europe Sales Manager (Romania-based).
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building and maintaining relationships with clients in the European region, and achieving sales targets. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance customer satisfaction and market penetration. You will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth and market expansion. With a keen focus on Bio bio-stimulants and Speciality Fertilisers, you will lead a team of technical sales promoters, develop strategic partnerships, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role demands a dynamic individual with a proven track record in agricultural sales leadership, a strategic mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.
Key responsibilities include
Sales Leadership:
- Assume responsibility for the comprehensive commercial management of the clients in the assigned region, acting as the main point of communication in the daily management of the account.
- Devise and implement a dynamic sales strategy tailored to the Agriculture Division, strategically aligning with overarching company goals.
- Update client profiles and create new leads and opportunities using the corporate CRM system.
- Accelerate revenue growth by relentlessly pursuing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer networks, and cultivating enduring customer relationships through value-driven sales techniques.
- Negotiate commercial conditions with new and existing customers.
- Set ambitious sales targets, monitor performance metrics, and provide strategic guidance to the team to achieve and exceed goals.
- Supervise and coordinate between customers and the Finance Team to maintain the client’s debt exposure under control.
Market Analysis:
- Conduct comprehensive market analyses to stay ahead of industry trends, anticipate market dynamics, and proactively identify areas for growth and development.
- Analyse customer needs and feedback to adapt product offerings dynamically, ensuring they are finely tuned to meet and exceed market demands.
- Utilise market intelligence to provide the sales team with actionable insights and strategies for effective customer engagement.
Customer Engagement:
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with key customers, proactively addressing their needs and ensuring unparalleled customer satisfaction.
- Leverage technical and product expertise to provide value-added solutions to customers, positioning the Product Portfolio as an indispensable asset.
- Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve product offerings and service delivery.
- Proactively follow up with clients, agents, and distributors to ensure consistent sales and explore opportunities for upselling.
Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
- Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Prepare comprehensive sales reports and analyses, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Frequently report on region performance within the set reporting structure.
- Utilise data-driven insights to refine sales strategies and optimise resource allocation.
Required knowledge/skills
- Our Ideal candidate has an established network across all distribution levels within the agricultural or biotechnology industry, focusing on AG input products, Bio stimulants, Biopesticides and Speciality Fertilisers.
- Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding revenue targets, preferably in the agricultural or biotechnology sector.
- Strong Sales Strategy Development, Client Relationship Management and Sales Target Achievement skills
- Strong ability to develop new business opportunities and engage with new customers
- Proven experience in negotiating complex agreements with clients, suppliers, and partners.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective commercial strategies that align with organisational goals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate challenges and make informed decisions under pressure.
- +10 years’ Experience in agricultural or biological sales
- Ability to work independently and remotely
