Travel: Approximately 80–85%


A well-established global manufacturer of warehouse automation is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customers across North America. This role focuses on the installation, service, repair, and troubleshooting of advanced machinery used within warehouse and production environments.


This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, technically strong service professional who enjoys working directly with customers, travelling extensively, and supporting complex capital equipment in demanding production settings.


Key Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to install, commission, service, and repair Warehouse Automation Equipment
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting support across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs to minimise customer downtime
  • Support complex equipment installations and assist with system testing and validation
  • Maintain accurate service, maintenance, and repair documentation
  • Manage spare parts usage and inventory while on assignment
  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with customers
  • Collaborate closely with internal technical teams, applications, sales, and international engineering resources
  • Maintain flexibility with work schedules, including occasional weekends and unscheduled travel


Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical or electrical repair, ideally within industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic control systems
  • Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and service manuals


Preferred Experience

  • Exposure to Warehouse Automation Equipment, or industrial automation equipment
  • Knowledge of electronics, servo drives (AC/DC), advanced hydraulics, and pneumatics
