The Role
- As a Flavour Scientist, you will be part of the Science & Technology Flavour & Data Sciences team.
- Your work will focus on investigating routes for enhancing the flavour and performance of plants.
- Your primary responsibilities will include research work, palatability testing and chemical characterisation.
- You will also play a key role in investigating mechanisms that potentiate flavour formation, such as the Maillard reaction and lipid oxidation.
- Collaboration with the Flavour Analytical Scientists and the Data Scientists will be crucial as you will work together to propose products for testing the assessment of new ingredients.
- Data integration and analysis will be a significant aspect of your work as you collect and analyse data from various sources to identify patterns and trends in flavour innovation and palatability optimisation.
- You will actively collaborate with cross-functional within the Science & Technology team, generating innovative ideas for new flavours and formulations.

Responsibilities
- FMCG technical background in Pet, Food and/or Beverages.
- Experience in R&D in Flavour analysis, development and/or manufacturing.
- BSc/MSc/PhD Degree in Flavour and/or Food Science/Chemistry, Sensory Science, or related field.
- Proficient in data analysis, statistical methodologies, and visualisation tools for interpreting complex datasets and generating meaningful insights.
- Fluent in English (oral and written), at ease in an international environment. Other languages are a plus.
