Description
Our client is a global leading with active ingredients into the cosmetics and personal care sector. With a global presence they are focused on innovative and sustainable solutions to better support skin health and well being. Due to continued growth in the US they have opened a laboratory in the US to better serve customers in the region. Prior to this technical support came from European HQ.
The Role
- Developing cosmetic formulations
- Preparing cosmetic samples for various exhibitions
- Preparing formulations for sales support
- Supporting distributor sales force
- Travelling with distributor sales force to customers in the US
- Presenting product / formulation information to customers and / or distributors
- Attending trade shows
- Working closely with lab and HQ in Europe.
The Requirements
- 3-5 years hands on Lab experience developing cosmetic formulations
- A technical degree in Chemistry, Biology or related science
- Good written and verbal skills in English (other language skills a plus)
- Computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel within the US and internationally
- Willingness and desire to work hands on in the role and cover multiple tasks.
