With a focus on operational excellence, sustainability, and innovative engineering, this organization is looking for a results-driven leader to expand its national pump sales footprint.


The Opportunity

We are seeking a National Pump Sales Director to drive revenue growth, develop market strategies, and lead sales initiatives across the US. This role is remote, offering flexibility while providing the opportunity to influence product adoption, customer engagement, and strategic growth initiatives nationwide. The ideal candidate combines technical knowledge of pump and fluid handling systems with proven commercial leadership skills in industrial markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute national sales strategies for pump products, targeting industrial markets such as oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, water & wastewater, pulp & paper, and marine.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, OEMs, distributors, and strategic customers across the US.
  • Drive new business development and identify opportunities to expand market share in existing and emerging markets.
  • Collaborate with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to align solutions with customer needs and market trends.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and product positioning.
  • Develop sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report progress to senior leadership.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and key customer meetings.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to internal teams and external partners to enhance product knowledge and drive sales.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7–10 years of industrial sales experience, preferably in pumps, fluid handling systems, or rotating equipment.
  • Proven track record of achieving national sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial markets, including oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, water/wastewater, and marine sectors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while managing a nationwide customer base.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as needed to support customer engagement and strategic initiatives.
