A global manufacturer of industrial washing and sanitizing systems is seeking an entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead and scale its business across the United States and Canada.

The company is internationally recognized for designing custom-engineered cleaning and sanitation solutions used across food processing, protein, logistics, and industrial environments. Its systems clean handling equipment such as crates, pallets, totes, bins, racks, molds, vats, and containers, delivering high-performance sanitation, operational efficiency, and long-term reliability.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a region and play a key role in expanding an established global brand’s North American footprint.

The Role

The Sales Manager will lead all commercial activity across North America, driving revenue growth, developing key customer relationships, and expanding market presence.

This is a high-autonomy strategic sales leadership role suited for someone who thrives in industrial capital equipment environments and enjoys building business from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities

Revenue Growth & Territory Leadership

  • Deliver annual sales targets across the USA & Canada
  • Develop and execute a regional growth strategy
  • Identify new vertical markets and application opportunities
  • Build and maintain long-term capital project pipeline visibility

Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Expand customer base within food processing, protein, and industrial sectors
  • Develop strategic partnerships and distribution opportunities
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence to global leadership

Sales Execution & Account Management

  • Manage full sales cycle: prospecting → quotation → negotiation → contract → project handover
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on technical proposals
  • Negotiate commercial terms and pricing
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term retention
  • Support contract compliance and payment coordination

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Engineering, Projects, Service, and Aftermarket teams
  • Support installations and customer follow-up
  • Participate in periodic alignment and training with global headquarters
  • Contribute to continuous commercial improvement initiatives

Organizational Scope

  • Part of a global sales organization
  • Expected to help build and lead additional North American sales resources as growth accelerates
  • Supported by engineering, service, and project teams internationally

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 5–10+ years of B2B industrial machinery or capital equipment sales
  • Background in industrial washing systems, food processing equipment, protein processing, or similar engineered solutions highly desirable
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Experience managing long, engineered-to-order sales cycles

Skills
