Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Product Manager to join our CASE & AMA (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers & Advanced Materials, and Additives) team to manage a portfolio of key suppliers. In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage a diverse supplier portfolio to meet sales, inventory, and profitability objectives. You will have the opportunity to interface with industry-leading suppliers regularly and develop a growth pipeline by collaborating with our sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in product management, particularly in the CASE & AMA market.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and adapt quickly.
  • Willingness to travel within North America as needed.

Role & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing suppliers, achieving growth objectives, and exceeding their expectations.
  • Participate in industry and supplier events.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to develop sales and new business, including joint customer visits and presentations.
  • Provide market intelligence and sales updates to satisfy supplier requirements, including presentations and product promotion campaigns.
  • Negotiate supplier costing and establish selling prices for the sales team.
  • Manage customer forecasts and inventory to meet working capital targets and satisfy customer requirements.
  • Work closely with the internal operations team to ensure effective communication and optimize the customer experience.
  • Meet internal reporting requirements and contribute to the development of improved systems and processes.
  • Share best practices for improvement and lead or assist in special projects to meet various business needs.
