We are working alongside our client in the Food Ingredients sector based in Nienburg, Lower Saxony to hire a Production Manager.

The client
Our client is a global leader in Specialty ingredient manufacturing and production. Supply their ingredients across multiple different sectors and market such as Food and Beverages.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the optimisation of operational and technical functions in terms of quality parameters, delivery capability, GMP requirements, costs, Safety, output, and productivity
- Driving for outstanding results in Product Quality, including Safety, Environmental Compliance, and Employee Engagement.
- Driving and supporting the development of a safe working environment and environmental activities through committees, audits, procedures, and training.
- Collaborating closely and effectively with the Plant Director to optimise plant results
Qualifications
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, chemistry manufacturing, pharma, or food setting.
- 5+ years' of experience working in Production and multiple years of experience managing a team.
- Knowledge in Quality Systems ISO 9001, HACCP, ISO 22000 & ISO 50001 GMP standards, Food fraud, and Food defense.
- Good communication skills in German and English, verbal as well as written
