Required experience

We are looking for candidates with at least a Master's degree in plant biology, agronomy, pathophysiology, chemistry, or any other related scientific field, with significant experience (5 years min), and management skills. With their lively minds, they’ll be able to evaluate and validate scientific research work thoroughly and rigorously, yet with a sense of synthesis. As a leader, they will be proactive, demonstrate autonomy, and bring the team together to act as one. For this position, speaking English is mandatory and knowledge of French would be a plus.

Role & Responsibilities

The role

The Seed Technology Manager is in charge of 2 labs: 1 for the seeds physiology (working on seed enhancement, seed disinfection, and seed protection), and 1 dedicated to chemistry (working on seed treatment (chemical & organic), seed coating formulation, and coating application). 


  • Supervise a team of 2 managers and 9 collaborators, ensure the monitoring of allocated resources 
  • Propose and deliver projects in line with the ambitions of the global organisation (meet new customer needs, improve quality, optimise time and processes, costs, etc.)
  • Develop and lead the implementation of the SeedTech roadmap and update it regularly with all stakeholders. 
  • Create collaboration with external partners: either Academic or Technology Platforms/Partners to innovate and bring value to the products/methods.
