The Opportunity

As part of its strategic expansion across the Western U.S., the company is seeking a dynamic South West US Sales Manager to lead growth across Southern California, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, and Utah. This position will be responsible for driving new business development, strengthening existing relationships, and broadening the adoption of technologically advanced sealing solutions across key industrial markets.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver sales growth across the assigned Southwest territory, consistently meeting revenue and activity targets.
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities with distributors, OEMs, and industrial end-users.
  • Provide technical support and product expertise to customers, ensuring the correct sealing solutions are specified for each application.
  • Maintain strong, long-term relationships by offering exceptional service, training, and value-added support.
  • Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer feedback to shape commercial strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with internal engineering, customer service, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Represent the company at key industry events, site visits, and technical presentations within the region.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts, territory reviews, and account plans.


Candidate Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in technical or industrial sales, ideally within fluid sealing, rotating equipment, or engineered components.
  • Strong mechanical or industrial aptitude with the ability to understand complex equipment environments.
  • Existing relationships within process industries such as chemical, mining, power generation, water/wastewater, manufacturing, or oil & gas is highly beneficial.
  • Highly self-driven, able to manage a large, diverse territory with autonomy and discipline.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the Southwest region.
