Regional Sales Manager – Canada & U.S. Mountain Time Zone
Location: Arkansas (Required) | Open to Travel
Mackinnon Bruce International is exclusively representing a highly respected, privately owned manufacturer of advanced centrifugal pump technology in the search for a Regional Sales Manager responsible for the Canadian market, while also covering selected U.S. Mountain Time Zone states.
With over 70 years of engineering excellence, this organisation specialises in customised, high-performance centrifugal pump solutions designed for demanding, corrosive, and abrasive industrial applications. Its North American headquarters is based in Arkansas, providing strong technical sales and service support across the U.S. and Canada.
Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager will lead new equipment sales, aftermarket growth, and strategic account development across:
- All of Canada
- Assigned U.S. Mountain Time Zone states
This individual will focus on technically complex pump applications involving abrasive slurries, corrosive fluids, and high-pressure systems. The role requires strong engagement with EPC firms, end users, and manufacturer representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans for Canada and assigned U.S. territory
- Identify and pursue new project opportunities within mining, FGD, desalination, fertiliser, and chemical markets
- Manage and grow relationships with EPC firms, engineering consultants, and plant operators
- Provide technical consultation on centrifugal pump selection and system applications
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver customised solutions
- Support commissioning, aftermarket, and service strategy
- Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Travel extensively throughout Canada and assigned U.S. territories (40–60%)

- Must be open to frequent travel, including Canada and U.S. Mountain Time Zone states
Equipment Experience (Required)
Candidates must have direct experience selling or managing sales of:
- Single-stage centrifugal pumps
- Multi-stage centrifugal pumps
- High-pressure mine dewatering systems
- Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) pumps
- Sea water reverse osmosis (SWRO) pumps
- Abrasive/corrosive slurry pump solutions
- Mechanical seals within industrial pump systems
Market Experience (Required)
Direct sales experience within one or more of the following industries:
- Mining
- Power generation / FGD
- Desalination/water treatment
- Fertilizer production
- Chemical processing
- Industrial pigment production (Titanium Dioxide, Iron Oxide)
- Oil & Gas
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 7+ years of industrial pump sales experience
- Strong technical aptitude in centrifugal pump systems
- Experience managing manufacturers’ representatives or channel partners
- Background working with EPC firms and industrial end users
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth in heavy industrial markets
- Consultative, solution-oriented sales approach
- Ability to work independently within a niche, technically sophisticated product portfolio
