Regional Sales Manager – East Coast

Food Processing Equipment | Capital Equipment Sales


We are currently partnered with a global manufacturer of solutions for depositing, portioning, filling and pumping a wide range of products from sauces and batters to chunky fillings and ready meals used by leading food producers to improve yield, consistency, automation, and production efficiency.


Our client is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial activity across the Eastern United States, driving territory growth through both new business development and strategic account management.


This is a consultative, technical capital equipment sales role focused on working directly with plant leadership, engineering teams, and operations stakeholders to address production challenges and deliver value-driven equipment solutions.


The role combines new business development, key account growth, equipment demonstrations, plant visits, and management of long-cycle capital equipment projects.

Travel Requirement: Approximately 50–70% across the East Coast region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full sales responsibility for the Eastern U.S. territory
  • Develop and expand relationships with large food manufacturing customers
  • Lead equipment demonstrations, trials, and technical sales presentations
  • Manage complex, solution-based capital equipment sales cycles
  • Collaborate with applications, engineering, and service teams to deliver complete solutions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM reporting


Required Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of capital equipment sales experience within food processing
  • Experience selling into large-scale food manufacturing environments
  • Strong technical, consultative sales approach

Preferred Experience

  • Background in portioning, forming, depositing, or automated food processing equipment

Skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, plant managers, operations leaders, and executives
  • Comfortable managing long-cycle, project-based sales
  • Self-directed with strong territory management capability
