The Role
Seeking a motivated Sales & Proposals Engineer to support the growth of our data center cooling business. In this role, you will bridge technical expertise with client needs, and collaborate with sales, engineering, and clients to develop tailored solutions and winning proposals. You will also contribute to business development across the EMEA region.
- Analyze RFQs, technical specs, and client requirements to prepare proposals
- Collab with engineering teams to design tailored solutions
- Ensure proposals are technically, financially and timely compliant.
- Partner with the sales team to provide technical expertise during client meetings and presentations.
- Actively support the sales cycle, including pre-sales discussions, technical clarifications, and contract negotiations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of their cooling requirements.
- Identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities in the EMEA region, focusing on cooling technologies for data centers.
Requirements\Qualifications
Education:
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or a related field.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in sales, proposals, or business development within the data center, HVAC, or cooling industry.
- Strong knowledge of cooling technologies (e.g., air cooling, liquid cooling, hybrid systems) and thermal engineering
- Strong technical background with a commercial ability
Skills:
- Proven ability to create compelling, detailed technical proposals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Technical acumen combined with a customer-centric mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong Excel abilities are required. VBA programming knowledge is a plus.
- Fully proficient in English
