About the Role


As Sales Manager – Industrial Gases / CCUS, you will lead commercial development within your region, managing sales and marketing activities to grow our footprint in the industrial gases and carbon capture markets.

You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with customers, key accounts, and partners while collaborating internally to deliver tailored, competitive solutions. This role is ideal for a commercially driven professional who combines technical understanding with a passion for sustainability and innovation.


Key Responsibilities


  • Deliver the annual sales plan (AOP) and contribute to accurate sales forecasting.
  • Manage leads and opportunities using the company’s CRM system (Salesforce or equivalent).
  • Support the development and execution of the sales strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, end-users, OEMs, and regional partners.
  • Identify and develop new market opportunities in line with business growth objectives.
  • Lead proposal development, ensuring technical and commercial alignment with customer needs.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of customer requirements, tenders, and specifications.
  • Facilitate internal processes such as Technical Sales Reviews (TSR) and contract approvals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Technology, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
  • Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and associations.
  • Travel as required within your region (approx. 30%).


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical or commercial discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in B2B sales, preferably within the Industrial Gases or process industry.
  • Proven background in CAPEX project sales or technically complex solution selling.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); an additional language is advantageous.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Experienced user of CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
  • Collaborative, internationally minded, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.
