Head of Sales / Area Sales Manager:
Location: Rhine-Neckar Metropolitan Region
Job Type: On-Site / Home office
Mackinnon Bruce is currently supporting a search for sales leadership and regional sales management professionals in Germany, covering key industrial regions and verticals.
These are exciting opportunities to join a well-established leader in fluid
handling and dosing solutions, supplying engineered equipment into chemical, pharmaceutical, and food & beverage environments. Both require a consultative sales mindset, strong technical understanding, and the ability to build and grow key relationships. Professionals experienced in capital equipment or consultative B2B sales, ideally with prior sales management exposure, would be a strong match.
Your Impact
- Lead or join a sales team while owning revenue responsibility in your region
- Drive new business, develop key accounts, and negotiate contracts with confidence
- Steer sales performance through KPI-based controlling and CRM (C4C)
- Analyse markets, trends, and competition to shape growth strategies
- Represent the company at trade fairs, conferences, and customer events
- Optimise sales processes and actively contribute to business development initiatives
Your Profile
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or comparable qualification
- Proven experience in B2B/industrial sales, ideally with leadership exposure
- Strong network among planners, plant engineers, OEMs, or operators
- Entrepreneurial, sales-driven mindset with excellent negotiation skills
- Confident, communicative personality with a high level of self-motivation
- Fluent in German and English, proficient in SAP/MS Office, and willing to travel
- Work on site (Head of Sales), or home office in East / West Germany (Area Sales Manager)
