Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy across the global Industrial and Environmental industries, are working exclusively alongside a nationally recognized market leader within the Water, Industrial and Process markets, who are looking to hire a Sales Representative to join their growing team in Germany.

Location

This role will be is a hybrid working opportunity, based in Germany, ideally based in Koln, Dusseldorf, Dortmund or Gelsenkirchen – other locations can be considered.


The Role & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Sales Representative who is passionate about business development, customer success, and turning opportunities into long-term partnerships.


  • Lead business development and sales across Germany, focusing on the water & process chemical sectors.
  • Build and grow relationships with both new and existing clients.
  • Identify new opportunities, propose smart pricing strategies, and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and service engineers to deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Provide technical support and solutions that help clients optimise their processes.
  • Analyse data, prepare performance reports, and contribute to continuous improvement.


What You Bring:

  • Proven experience selling process water and chemical process chemicals in Germany.
  • A proactive, customer-focused approach and strong business development mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical understanding and the drive to deliver results.

Requirements\Qualifications

  • Ideally Educated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable professional experience of in the Sales and Business Development of water process and chemicals.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent Communication skills – both written and spoken.
  • Ability to use MS Office software applications.
  • Valid Driving Licence. (Class B)
