Senior Sales Manager – Life Science / Pharma (m/f/d)

Driving Innovation in Fill-Finish

Key Responsibilities

  • Take full commercial and technical ownership for your defined markets within the Pharma and Biotech sectors, focusing on Fill & Finish machinery and related automation solutions.
  • Implement the global sales strategy and ensure achievement of revenue and profitability targets in your assigned regions.
  • Proactively acquire new strategic customers and qualified distribution partners.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships, particularly with key accounts and major pharma/biotech producers.
  • Analyse customer needs and market trends, translating insights into targeted actions in collaboration with Product Management.
  • Identify new business opportunities and define go-to-market strategies to drive sustainable growth.


Your Profile

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, or related discipline (Bachelor’s/Master’s or equivalent).
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in international sales within the pharmaceutical or biotech machinery sector — ideally within Fill & Finish, aseptic processing, or special-purpose equipment.
  • Strong technical understanding combined with commercial acumen and customer-centric thinking.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility across all levels.
  • Strategic mindset with a structured, results-oriented approach.
  • Proven experience managing change and driving business transformation.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30–50%.
  • Fluent in English and German; additional European languages are advantageous.
