Mackinnon Bruce International are partnered with a global supplier of speciality chemicals & nutritional ingredients, servicing a variety of industries and markets. We are seeking a Technical Account Manager for our Food division.
The Role
This is a commercially focused position responsible for building new & existing relationships, converting opportunities into long-term partnerships within the food, nutrition, and beverage industry.
- Develop and manage a strong pipeline of prospects within the industry and key segments.
- Engage with customers through a consultative, value-driven approach.
- Represent the business at industry trade shows, technical seminars, and global conferences.
- Navigate sales cycles with persistence, professionalism, and a solution-driven mindset.
- Partner closely with R&D, Procurement, and Technical Directors to deliver tailored ingredient solutions.
- Collaborate with technical and supply partners to ensure customers receive best-in-class support.
- Leverage CRM platforms and industry tools to work strategically and efficiently.
The Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Business, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience within food ingredients, food manufacturing, or nutritional products.
- Demonstrated ability to win new business and maintain customer relationships.
- Strong communication skills and confident working across technical and commercial functions.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced market.
