Reports to: Vice President of Sales & Marketing


Education/Experience Required:

  • BS Degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related Manufacturing field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Filtration, non-wovens, or a tangential industry, with a focus on Analytical/Technical Sales.
  • Documented success in sales growth, project development, and new customer acquisition.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CRM platform experience, with Salesforce as a plus.
  • Specialty in Nonwovens Technical or Sales experience; or Liquid Filtration Product & Process experience.

  • Timely communication of key information is required; including customer forecasts, customer quality issues, credit/delivery issues, pricing/quotations, new development needs, new contact data, visit reports, budget performance, and roadblocks

Role & Responsibilities

The Role (Summary):

The Non-Woven/Filtration Technical Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving business growth by developing customer relationships and acting as the primary interface with key decision-makers. By conducting research, asking probing questions, and listening effectively during customer interactions. Responsibilities will include effectively supporting ongoing business and successfully developing new business with existing and new customers, targeting +5%/year growth. The Filtration Sales Manager will effectively lead cross-functional teams to communicate customer opportunities and issues, ensuring coordination throughout all areas of the organisation. This role will be expected to safely travel, schedule visits to key customers, meet new prospects, and participate in appropriate industry events. He/She will work in the safest manner possible while in the field, at a remote office, or the location, ensuring that we continue to proactively prevent injuries and accidents.


This role involves:

  • Developing and maintaining customer relationships through effective research, probing questions, and listening during interactions.
  • Supporting ongoing business and developing new business with both existing and new customers to target a +5%/year growth.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to communicate customer opportunities and issues, ensuring coordination throughout the organisation.
  • Traveling safely, scheduling visits to key customers, meeting new prospects, and participating in industry events.

Safety Responsibilities:

  • Active participation in the Zero Accident Safety Culture.
  • Engaging in continually improving our safety program through Safety Observations.
  • Establishing and following best work practices to ensure safety in the field, at remote offices, or the company location.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership in new business development.
  • Achieve growth targets through strategic account management.
  • Liaise between Operations, R&D/Product Development, and Business Team.
  • Drive execution of product qualifications at customer operations.
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships.
