We are working with a pioneering client in the Precision Agriculture sector, who are looking to hire a Territory Manager, to cover their Illinois region. This will be focused upon covering their existing accounts in the region, and developing new business in the region.

Our client is an established precision agriculture company, providing excellent actionable and detailed Crop Intelligence, providing growers insights and agronomic data which allow them to increase their yields and reduce costs.

Requirements\Qualifications

  • Degree in ag-related field / Relevant ag-sales or crop advisory experience.
  • Demonstrated ag-industry experience
  • Being adept at mobile apps and new technologies.
  • Willingness to travel
  • Full driver’s license.
  • Ability to use CRM systems

Role & Responsibilities

The Role

The role is highly focused upon generating new business with ag retailers, equipment vendors, farmers, and manufacturers alongside identifying new opportunities for market growth. Further, you will be managing current business in the Illinois region.


Responsibilities 

  • New business creation, with ag retailers, farmers, manufacturers, and equipment vendors.
  • Account management
  • Willingness to travel, pitching in person.
  • Have a high understanding of the agricultural business
  • Gain a high understanding of the product.
