We are working alongside our client in Biotechnology based in the United States to hire a Territory Manager.

The client

A rapidly growing, global biotech company that specialise in genetic engineering solutions for research and medicine. A global leader across a variety of products and services relating to gene delivery including vector design & optimisation, vector cloning, library construction & screening, cell line generation, and GMP manufacturing of clinical-grade plasmids, proteins, mRNAs, and viruses. 

Location: Boston


  • Degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or a related field (Ph.D. or Masters highly preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology/Medical Device.
  • High self-motivation and ability to work independently & as a collaborative team player.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and sales skills, and a strong motivation to succeed in a sales & customer position.
  • Ability to interact with customers with confidence and ease.

Role & Responsibilities

The Role

We are currently looking for a Territory Manager for the Boston area to join the team, to generate and grow sales in the Boston area across their product offerings within genetic engineering solutions and gene delivery. This role would be suitable for a strong technical researcher who is looking to transition into a sales position.


  • Increase sales within the designated territory.
  • Act as the point of contact for existing and potential new customers within the territory.
  • Discover and reach out to new potential clients.
  • Communicate with clients via email, phone, video call, product shows and conferences, in-person meetings, and presentations to promote the organisation's offerings.
  • Collaborate with other sales representatives from different territories to share best practices and support a cohesive sales approach.
  • To work closely with internal departments to provide technical support & guidance to customers - demonstrating a strong product/service knowledge.
  • Other duties as needed.
