Their product portfolio focuses on extracted humic and fulvic acids that unlock the nutrient bank in the soil, increase the concentration of organic matter, carbon, and microbes, improve stress management, and unleash the yield potential of crops.


The Territory Sales Leader is responsible for driving sales of the complete product portfolio for current accounts and targeted new accounts within North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. This will include regional account management responsibilities. They will build and execute their plan while collaborating with management to shape the broader company sales and marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture input sales and sales management, be skilled in leadership and communication, and be comfortable contributing to tactical and strategic planning.


Key responsibilities include

  • Develop the regional sales strategy in collaboration with executive leadership, which will include growing business with existing regional accounts and prioritising a pipeline of new target customers
  • Be accountable and responsible to achieve agreed targets and KPIs for new and existing accounts • Build strong relationships with key customers and industry partners
  • Be creative and proactive to generate customer leads, attend industry events, plan local field demonstration events, etc.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements with customers in collaboration with management
  • Interface with operations and supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with management to build pricing, distribution, and portfolio strategy
  • Collaborate in the development of the North American marketing plan, including contributing ideas for promotional activities & incentive programs
  • Work closely with the technical service/product development team to bring a customer voice to company innovation


Required knowledge/skills

  • The successful candidate will have extensive agriculture input sales knowledge and experience, be able to think both strategically and tactically, demonstrate focus and flexibility, and be excited about joining a company with growth aspirations.
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of experience in agriculture input sales (experience with soil health and fertility preferred)
  • Experience leading key accounts and/or regional sales teams
  • Strong negotiation and planning skills
  • Analytical skills to build hypotheses and develop strategic and tactical action plans
  • Well-honed written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with significant independent drive to grow an emerging agriculture input business
