Description

Our client, a high-growth leader in the Data Protection and Cyber Resilience space, is seeking a VP of Product to own product vision, strategy, and execution across their next-generation backup, recovery, and data security portfolio. This executive will define platform strategy, drive market expansion, and lead high-performing global product teams.


This is a pivotal role for a company scaling rapidly across Enterprise, Mid-Market, and Cloud-native markets.


Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own the end-to-end product vision, roadmap, and long-term strategy across Data Protection, Backup & Recovery, SaaS protection, and Cloud offerings.
  • Lead and scale global Product Management teams, driving clarity, accountability, and excellence.
  • Partner with Engineering to deliver high-quality, secure, resilient products at scale.
  • Evaluate new markets, customer needs, and emerging technologies (AI, ML, Ransomware resilience, Cloud automation).


Execution & Delivery

  • Translate customer pain points into actionable product plans that accelerate adoption and revenue growth.
  • Oversee pricing, packaging, competitive analysis, and commercial strategy.
  • Drive successful delivery of product releases, ensuring performance, security, and operational reliability.
  • Champion UX modernization, subscription models, and SaaS transformation.


Go-To-Market Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Alliances to deliver world-class GTM programs.
  • Enable field teams with product expertise, competitive insights, and value-based messaging.
  • Represent Product in strategic customer conversations and executive briefings.


Experience & Requirements

  • 10+ years in Product Management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Deep experience in Data ProtectionBackup & RecoveryCyber ResilienceStorageCloud/SaaS, or adjacent security domains.
  • Proven track record driving multi-million-dollar growth, launching enterprise products, and scaling global teams.
  • Strong technical understanding of Cloud-native architectures, SaaS delivery models, and security fundamentals.
  • Experience working in high-growth or transformation environments (PE-backed, scale-up, or enterprise modernization is a plus).
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
