**Director of Operations Technology – Austin Tx (Hybrid) - $Negotiable**

Backed by strong capital partners and led by an experienced team, it manages a multi-gigawatt portfolio of renewable energy projects under development and construction nationwide.
Role Overview
Reporting to senior leadership, the Operations Technology leader will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of operational technology (OT) for renewable energy power plants. This includes the design and upkeep of robust network architectures, SCADA systems, power plant controllers, energy management systems, and cybersecurity measures that meet industry standards.
- Oversee the design, setup, and maintenance of SCADA systems, networks, and power plant control systems.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity and compliance with NERC CIP standards.
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships for OT infrastructure.
- Support integration and commissioning of technology systems for new sites.
- Coordinate long-term maintenance and updates of OT systems during operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, IT, or related field.
- 6+ years in grid integration or OT in power generation (renewables preferred).
- Deep knowledge of SCADA, network protocols, industrial standards (IEC 61850/104).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and NERC CIP compliance.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
