Description

Our client is a global leader within flavors and ingredients and are seeking a Quality Manager to join their facility in Wisconsin.


The Role

  • Develop and Implement Quality Plan including driving a positive Quality Culture within the organization whilst driving excellence in customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure that the appropriate systems (e.g. Quality Management System, FSSC22000, RSPO, GMP) are in place and maintained, in line with all applicable laws, regulations and standards.
  • Conduct Audits: Perform internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Team Leadership: Train and mentor quality team members, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
  • Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure that quality requirements are met and address any quality issues by supporting strong corrective and preventive actions.
  • Define and Set Product Specifications: Establish and maintain Specifications to ensure Food Safety and Quality in finished products as applicable.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all products supplied are safe for the intended consumers, are compliant with specification and regulatory and client requirements, whilst meeting and exceeding the expected standards of quality.
  • Quality Reporting: Prepare and present quality performance reports to senior management, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Execute CAPEX and OPEX budgets for Quality Control and Quality Assurance .
  • Support the quality approval during the planning and execution of CAPEX and OPEX to drive continuous improvement across the site.
  • Other tasks may be requested as per local requirements / organization.


The Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in food science, food engineering, and / or chemistry, quality management.
  • 5+ years of experience in applicable industry e.g., Food, Ingredient, Chemical Pharma.
  • 5+ years of experience in people leadership, leading diverse and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with leading ISO standards (FSSC,9001) and other standards such as Organic, RSPO, Halal and Kosher.
