Mackinnon Bruce International, an Executive Search Consultancy across the global Industrial and Environmental industries, are working exclusively alongside a nationally recognised market leader within the speciality Chemicals and Process Water Treatment markets, who is looking to hire a Sales Area Account Manager to join their growing team in Eastern Germany.

A growing and nationally recognised leading manufacturer across the Speciality Chemicals and Process Water Treatment sectors.


Location

This role will be a hybrid working opportunity, based in Eastern Germany. This is a home-based role that will also involve travelling to both existing and prospective clients in the region.


The Role & Responsibilities

In the role of Sales Area Account Manager, you will be responsible for the business development, sales and key account management.


You will have established contacts and a developed network of clients across Eastern Germany. As the Sales Area Account Manager, you will focus on the successful development and activities across a wide portfolio of clients, including Water Treatment, Paper Manufacturing, Petrochemical and Water Process Chemical-related clients.


  • Undertake business development activities across Eastern Germany, focusing on strategic business development and marketing initiatives.
  • Utilise and leverage your network across Eastern Germany, focusing on clients Speciality Chemicals and Process Water Treatment sectors.
  • Propose sales pricing, economic indicators and potential industry-related competitors.
  • Provide technical understanding and support to existing customers across a wide range of products and solutions.
  • Conduct routine analysis as well as prepare service and annual reports.
  • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to collaborate, analyse and process data.
  • Manage and maintain customer-related data as well as internal documentation.


Requirements\Qualifications

  • Ideally, educated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable professional experience in the Sales and Business Development of Speciality Chemicals and Process Water Treatment sectors.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Excellent Communication skills – both written and spoken.
  • Ability to use MS Office software applications.
  • Valid Driver’s Licence. (Class B)
