Description

Mackinnon Bruce International are retained with a global manufacturer of Laboratory and Biomedical Equipment, offering pre-analytical solutions including small equipment, medical devices, software and applications to private and public laboratories. They are a market leader in specimen collection systems, cell/tissue cultivation, analytics equipment and OEM solutions. Our client are now currently looking for a Sales Manager to lead the team in Switzerland.


The company is a well-respected and global manufacturer of Preanalytical and Biosciences instruments and consumables with a small and growing team based in Switzerland.

This position will take full P&L management, responsibility for commercial growth (80%) and oversight of operational process (20%) for the preanalytical product portfolio. We are looking for a commercially focused candidate with experience managing sales/BD teams who are looking to take the next step in their career.


Responsibilities

  • Full P&L ownership for Switzerland and overall responsibility for business growth and profitability across the designated product line.
  • Define and implement the strategic growth within Switzerland
  • Develop sales pipeline and boost new business development to drive towards being the market leading in the Preanalytics Field
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive Preanlytics and support other areas of the business.
  • Lead and develop the Swiss sales team
  • Drive Key Account Management strategy and personally engage in major commercial opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and strategic partners
  • Foster close collaboration across DACH countries and with broader EMEA leadership
  • Work closely with the SLT and commercial management team to identify and implement initiatives and market development activities


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management or a related field
  • 5 years of sales leadership experience within preanalytics, diagnostics, or laboratory industry with a successful history of revenue growth within one of these areas
  • In-depth understanding of healthcare and laboratory sales processes in Switzerland
  • Solid business acumen
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a hands-on and solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making
  • Fluency in English & German, an understanding of French would be ideal but is not essential
