For a leading 3PL providing solutions for: LTL / FTL, single-item shipments, and container freight.

I am searching for a highly strategic and results-driven Vice President of Sales.

This executive role is ideal for a senior sales professional with a deep understanding of the logistics landscape.

The selected candidate will be a proficient hunter, leading national sales efforts, expanding key industry verticals, and driving long-term commercial growth.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement a comprehensive national sales strategy across LTL, FTL, and 3PL offerings
  • Drive vertical growth in target sectors, with a focus on automotive
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team across regional markets
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic accounts
  • Work closely with the executive team to shape market positioning and long-term revenue strategy


Ideal Candidate Profile:


  • 6-10 years of sales management or equivalent success in leadership roles in 3PL, LTL, and FTL transportation services
  • Proven experience managing complex sales cycles within automotive, time-critical logistics, and/or cold chain products
  • Strong track record of building and leading sales organizations across North America with a domestic focus
  • Ability to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on leadership approach
  • Based in, or open to relocating to, Chicago, IL
