The client
Our client is an established, vertically-integrated grower, importer and marketing of fresh berries, providing the highest quality to their network of regional and national retailers across the United States.
Location: On-site
Travel: Occasional travel to facilities in Texas & New Jersey
The Role
For this role, we need someone who is more than a local Warehouse Manager but is also not an empty suit. Our client has a hands-on, execution-driven team, so this candidate needs a strong work ethic and willingness to roll up their sleeves.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for inventory turnover performance, working closely with the Operational Planning team to align orders, inbound supply, and inventory, driving operational excellence.
- Work with Operational Planning to translate upcoming demand and inbound fruit projections into weekly operational game plans, identifying potential constraints.
- Oversee multiple facilities across the US, analyzing capacity vs projections.
- Develop and manage operational KPIs.
- Manage a team of Operations Managers and warehouse leadership teams across three sites, driving continuous improvement.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement, with 5+ years of experience in operational leadership in Fresh Produce, preferably in berries or soft fruit.
