Mackinnon Bruce International are retained with a global manufacturer of Laboratory and Biomedical Equipment, offering pre-analytical solutions including consumables, medical devices and software used in clinical diagnostics, life science research and drug discovery. They are a market leader in specimen collection systems, cell/tissue cultivation, analytical equipment and OEM solutions.
Our client is now looking for an experience Sales Specialist to join their DACH team, based in Southern Germany. This individual will be tasked with nurturing existing business relationships as well as “hunting” new growth opportunities across Research Laboratories, Blood Collection Service Providers, Clinics and Hospitals, offering their full Pre-Analytics portfolio. This role will be responsible for all accounts across Southern Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site, technical consulting and presentations, to both existing and potential customers, to ensure you are providing the right solutions to meet their needs.
- Maintaining existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers across your territory
- Independent organisation of the working week to provide our customers with the best possible customer service
- Provide market insights to internal team and analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities
- Regular and close communication with colleagues from the field sales, product management, R&D and marketing teams to jointly establish and implement sales strategies for the further development of the business in Germany
- Representing the company and their products at trade fairs, conferences and congresses both locally and sometimes internationally.
- Close cooperation with our internal sales team to prepare and follow up on quotations as well as developing sales processes
- Use the companies CRM to Track sales pipelines and KPIs and achieving regional and company targets
- Become the first point of contact for your customers to provide training, troubleshoot and provide excellent customer service during and following the sale.
Job Requirements:
- Hold a Professional Education in either nursing or relevant life science field or similar
- Ideally have experience in life science sales however, candidates with a the desired education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Customer-oriented thinking and a hands-on mentality, as well as independent and structured working are a matter of course
- Good computer skills, e.g. in MS Office and CRM
- Open-mindedness, enthusiasm, empathy, negotiating and organisational skills round off your profile
- Languages: Fluent in German with a strong understanding of English
- Travel: Able and willing to travel up to 60% across the territory with irregular travel across Germany and internationally.
