We are working alongside our client in the Ag-Tech sector to hire a Head of Sales & Marketing to lead global commercial growth, channel expansion, marketing strategy, and revenue performance across an established international precision agriculture business.

Our client is an international precision agriculture technology company developing solutions focused on GPS guidance, autosteering, automation, and digital farming. Their products help growers improve operational efficiency, reduce input costs, and increase productivity through accessible and scalable precision agriculture technology.


Location

Flexible within Europe


Travel

International travel required, approximately 50%.


The Role

Responsible for leading the company's commercial organisation, with ownership of revenue growth, sales, marketing, channel development, business development, and commercial operations. This individual will work closely with the executive leadership team to drive international expansion, improve commercial performance, and build scalable growth strategies

across multiple markets.


Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver company-wide revenue growth objectives
  • Lead and develop international sales and marketing teams
  • Build, recruit, and manage dealer, distributor, and strategic partner networks
  • Develop and execute global go-to-market and market expansion strategies
  • Drive customer acquisition across both channel and direct sales models
  • Manage commercial planning, forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting
  • Develop pricing strategies, channel programs, and commercial frameworks
  • Identify and secure strategic partnerships and OEM opportunities
  • Oversee demand generation, product launches, events, and marketing initiatives
  • Improve commercial processes, CRM utilisation, and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate closely with product, finance, and leadership teams to support growth objectives
  • Develop a high-performance culture focused on accountability and execution


Requirements / Qualifications

  • 10+ years of commercial leadership experience within Ag-Tech, agricultural machinery, precision agriculture, industrial technology, robotics, or related sectors
  • Proven track record of delivering revenue growth across multiple international markets
  • Experience managing both dealer/distributor networks and direct sales channels
  • Demonstrated success building and scaling commercial organisations
  • Strong experience recruiting and activating channel partners
  • Experience leading market expansion and territory development initiatives
  • Commercially astute with strong negotiation and business development capabilities
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach to growth
  • Comfortable operating within a fast-paced and scaling business environment

  • GPS guidance, autosteering, precision agriculture technologies
  • Agricultural equipment dealer networks
  • Digital farming platforms and subscription-based business models
  • OEM partnerships and strategic channel relationships
  • International commercial operations across Europe and global markets
