The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join a high-performing commercial team focused on the hospital sector in East Germany.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and developing strategic customer relationships across a portfolio of advanced medication management and infusion technologies. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success and Marketing, you will drive sustainable business growth, identify new opportunities, and support hospitals in adopting innovative healthcare solutions.

This is a highly consultative sales role requiring strong stakeholder engagement skills, including interaction with senior hospital leadership and decision-makers.


Territory - East Germany (covering Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, parts of Hesse & Thuringia, and Northern Bavaria) - This position must be based within the territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans across the assigned territory
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders within hospitals and healthcare institutions
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including pipeline management, forecasting, negotiations, and contract management
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions and ensure successful implementation
  • Represent the company at industry events, congresses, and customer meetings
  • Deliver against sales and margin targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strong market awareness and understanding of healthcare trends within the German hospital sector


What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of sales experience within the German-speaking hospital market
  • Previous experience selling Medical Device/Technologies including capital equipment
  • Strong track record in strategic account development and relationship management
  • Technical or medical background with the ability to quickly understand complex products and solutions
  • Excellent knowledge of the German hospital landscape and customer purchasing processes
  • Commercially driven with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally within international teams
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the region (approximately 70%)
  • Motivated, resilient, and results-oriented approach
