We are working alongside our client in the Ag-Tech sector to hire a Chief Product Officer / VP Product to lead product strategy, execution, and organisational development across a rapidly scaling digital agriculture platform.

Our client is a fast-growing Ag-Tech company developing a digital platform that helps farmers, food companies, and financial institutions accelerate the transition to more profitable and sustainable farming systems. The business combines agronomic intelligence, scientific modelling, financial tools, and compliance frameworks into a single technology platform.
Location: Germany or Remote (EU)
Travel: Regular travel across Europe
The Role
Responsible for leading the entire product organisation, defining product strategy, and balancing the needs of farmers, enterprise customers, scientific stakeholders, and regulatory requirements.
This role will oversee multiple product areas and build a high-performing product organisation capable of delivering both innovation and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall product strategy across farmer, enterprise, and scientific product areas.
- Lead and develop a high-performing product organisation, including hiring, mentoring, and organisational design.
- Drive delivery of scalable, reliable, and compliant digital products.
- Balance long-term product vision with short-term commercial opportunities.
- Partner closely with engineering leadership to maximise execution speed and product quality.
- Establish best-practice product management processes across the organisation.
- Ensure products meet the needs of farmers, enterprise customers, and regulatory stakeholders.
- Work cross-functionally with scientific, agronomic, commercial, and operational teams.
- Prioritise investment across multiple product lines and competing business needs.
- Shape the future direction of one of the industry's leading digital agriculture platforms.
Requirements\Qualifications
- 10+ years of product management experience.
- Previous experience as a Chief Product Officer, VP Product, or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Track record building and scaling product organisations within growth-stage technology companies.
- Experience working within regulated, scientific, enterprise SaaS, Ag-Tech, food-tech, or supply-chain technology environments.
- Strong strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution capabilities.
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams across product, design, engineering, and technical stakeholders.
- Ability to balance rapid product iteration with rigorous scientific or compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational development skills.
