About the roles
We are currently seeking experienced and commercially driven Product / Category Managers to take ownership of key product portfolio for a leading global manufacturer of building chemicals and materials.
This is a hybrid role combining product management, commercial growth, and technical marketing, with the individual responsible for shaping category strategy, driving sales performance, and supporting market expansion. This is a senior position, and as such requires someone with strong experience in concrete repair / protection, or waterproofing and roofing systems.
The ideal candidates will be a strong blend of technical and commercial ability, acting as the key link product, sales, technical teams, and senior leadership, with full responsibility for their category's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and develop a defined product category and growth strategy
- Drive sales performance, margin, and market share
- Identify new business opportunities across contractor and distribution channels
- Support technical marketing, product positioning, and training
- Collaborate with UK teams and international product stakeholders
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and category performance
Key Requirements:
- Experience in category management, product management, or commercial roles within construction/building products
- Direct experience in roofing, waterproofing, OR concrete repair systems (must)
- Commercially minded with strong stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance technical understanding with market-driven decision making
- Experience working with contractors, manufacturers, or technical construction products
