Description
Our client is seeking a visionary Manager of Technology & Innovation to lead advanced R&D, drive breakthrough technologies, and accelerate innovation across fragrance and flavor development. This position is predominately focused on fragrances.
What You’ll Lead:
- Technology strategy, platform innovation & long‑term R&D roadmap
- Development of next‑gen delivery systems, sustainable materials, and biotech/AI‑enabled solutions
- Cross‑functional innovation with perfumers, flavorists, scientists & engineers
- Digital transformation in R&D: AI‑assisted formulation, predictive modelling, data-driven insights
- Customer collaboration, technical presentations & co‑creation initiatives
- Regulatory alignment (IFRA, FEMA, REACH) & product stewardship
- Building and mentoring a high‑performing technical organization
What You Bring:
- 8+ years R&D experience in fragrance, flavor, ingredients, or related industries
- Strong expertise in formulation, sensory science, and emerging technologies
- Proven ability to translate science into commercial value
- Leadership experience driving innovation pipelines and technical teams. Direct team management is not a must for this role; however, you must have lead projects and innovation pipeline.
