Area Sales Manager – West & Central Africa Location: Abidjan, Ivory Coast
A leading global fragrance house is looking for an ambitious Area Sales Manager to join a growing commercial team in West and Central Africa. This is a newly created role driven by market growth, offering a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a diverse and exciting territory.
The Role
You will manage and develop sales relationships across a broad territory covering Ivory Coast, Senegal, Togo, Benin, Mali, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Cameroon, DRC, Angola, and Burkina Faso. Working as part of an established regional team, you will be responsible for growing the client base, nurturing existing accounts, and identifying new commercial opportunities across the region.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in a sales or commercial role, ideally with exposure to the fragrance, FMCG, or related industry
- Some knowledge of the fragrance sector is a plus, though not essential at a deep technical level
- Client-focused mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised and self-motivated, comfortable managing a wide territory independently
- Willingness to travel extensively (40+ days per year across the region)
- Bilingual in French and English (fluent in both)
- Based in or willing to relocate to Abidjan
