Mackinnon Bruce is partnered with a global producer, custom manufacturer, and distributor of specialty chemical solutions. Our client is seeking a Product / Sales Manager to join their Lubricants, Additives & Intermediates Business Unit.
Our client is a leading global specialty chemicals company serving the lubricants industry with high-performance raw materials and formulation technologies. Their portfolio includes base oils, additives, synthetic esters, PAOs, PAGs, and metalworking fluid components. Through a combination of distribution, custom manufacturing, and technical expertise, they support lubricant manufacturers across a diverse range of industrial applications worldwide.
About the Role
This is a commercially focused position that combines product management, supplier management, business development, and key account management responsibilities within an established and growing lubricants portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement product strategies to drive sustainable business growth.
- Identify new product opportunities, principals, and strategic supplier partnerships.
- Manage key supplier relationships and lead commercial negotiations.
- Own, develop, and grow global key customer accounts.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with regulatory and technical teams to ensure product compliance and market readiness
- Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs, and conferences.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience within lubricants, lubricant additives, base oils, specialty chemicals, or industrial performance products.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in negotiation and relationship management.
- Experience in product management, business development, technical sales, or a related commercial role.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer and supplier relationships across international markets.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with a willingness to travel internationally.
- Business proficient in English.

Location:
This is primarily a remote position with a flexible travel schedule. Ideally, candidates will be based in the North Rhine-Westphalia region, although applicants from other locations will be considered for the right level of experience.
